          Any advertisments (ads) found on this website (excluding any links in this dark blue color) , do not contain content chosen, suggested, bought, or sold by Boy Scout Troop 653 or its webmasters, scouts, or troop leaders. These advertisements are added automatically to this site by FreeWebs.com and Google. These ads are chosen most oftenly based on the content of the website. However, sometimes ads show that are completely unrelated to the content of the site. Thus, there have been reports of innapropriate content in the ads that should not be showing on a Boy Scout Troop's website. Unless we pay a certain amount of money that is not in our budget at this time (due to our thirty-year-old diesel bus ), we have no choice but to have these ads displayed on our site. Why? Because rather than a FreeWebs member paying for webspace, ads are displayed on the site, which is how FreeWebs makes its money. Once again, note the free part. Once again, this is how this service makes most of its money.
